Composed of a mixture of Copper, Zinc, Manganese and Nickel. This coin is the Doubled Edge Lettering variety, meaning the edge doesn't have the inscriptions it's supposed to. As well as being doubled, it's also inverted. Obverse: Features the portrait of John Adams facing right with a stoic expression.

Reverse: Features the towering image of the Statue of Liberty with torch raised high. Coins minted in Philadelphia feature the "P" mint mark.
